At JM&Co Design Studio, we believe a well-designed home begins with understanding the people who will live there. Our process is thoughtful, proven, and highly personal, allowing us to guide each project with clarity from the earliest plans through the final details. With experience designing homes throughout Michigan, Arizona, Wyoming, and Florida, we bring a broad perspective while remaining attentive to the unique character of every home and client.
We listen first and design second. Rather than assigning a single point of view to a project, we work collaboratively, bringing together our individual strengths, experience, and perspectives. This allows us to consider each decision from multiple angles while creating interiors that feel cohesive, personal, and intentional.
Our clients trust us to balance creativity with practicality, guide their investments thoughtfully, and manage the many details involved in creating a home. The result is a refined, livable interior designed to serve them well for years to come.
JODI MEDINA
FOUNDER AND LEAD DESIGNER
With more than 25 years of experience in the interior design industry, Jodi Medina brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, creativity, and vision to every project. Coming from a family of builders, developers, and designers, she developed an early understanding of how thoughtful design and quality construction work together.
Jodi began her career working independently as a designer for 10 years before spending the following decade as the lead designer for a high-end residential builder. Together, those experiences gave her an extensive understanding of architecture, construction, spatial planning, and the many decisions required to bring a home together from the ground up. Her trained eye for proportion and detail allows her to see both the full vision and the individual elements that make it successful.
Today, Jodi leads the creative vision at JM&Co, approaching each project with a deep understanding of how design decisions affect the way a home looks, feels, and functions over time. She is known for creating refined, livable interiors while guiding clients toward thoughtful investments and decisions that will serve them well for years to come.
ELLE MEDINA
DESIGNER
With a practical mindset, creative perspective, and an instinct for how people truly live, Elle Medina brings both intention and functionality to every JM&Co project. Having grown up on job sites with her mom, Jodi, Elle developed an early understanding of the details, coordination, and thoughtful decision-making required to create a well-designed home.
Elle later joined Jodi in establishing JM&Co, bringing a fresh perspective to the experience and knowledge they have built the studio around. Her role spans space planning, technical drawings, material and furnishing selections, and project coordination. Her approach is grounded in clean, timeless design and a belief that luxury should make everyday life easier. Elle is especially skilled at understanding how a family uses its home and translating those needs into interiors that feel personal, cohesive, and made to last.
OUR TEAM
While JM&Co is led by Jodi and Elle, our work is the result of a highly collaborative team behind the scenes. From architectural and technical support to operations, sourcing, and project coordination, each home is shaped by a group of trusted professionals who help carry every detail from concept through completion.
Many of these contributors aren’t visible on our website, but their expertise is woven into every space we design. It takes a team to transform a home with the level of care, precision, and intention that defines the JM&Co approach and we wouldn’t do it any other way.
